Abstract

ABSTRAK PT. Bangkitgiat Usaha Mandiri (PT. BUM) merupakan bagian dari Nurdin Tampubolon Corporate (NT. Corporation) yang merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri pengolahan minyak kelapa sawit (CPO). Perusahaan ini masih mengalami masalah terhadap losses minyak yang tinggi akibat dari mesin yang bekerja secara tidak optimal. Salah satu penyebab kurang efektifnya kerja mesin yang tidak optimal adalah sistem perawatan/pemeliharaanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keefektivitasan mesin press dan mesin digester di stasiun press yang tidak bekerja secara optimal serta mengetahui penyebab dari tingginya losses minyak hasil output dari mesin tersebut. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) yang merupakan salah satu metode yang dikembangkan di Jepang yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi produksi perusahaan dengan menggunakan mesin/peralatan secara efektif. Tujuan utama dari penerapan TPM di perusahaan ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan mereduksi jenis kerusakan pada komponen kritis yang menjadi objek penelitian serta meningkatkan nilai overall equipment efficiency (OEE) sebagai ukuran performansi dari penelitian ini. Selain itu, metode yang digunakan untuk mereduksi jenis kerusakan pada penelitian ini adalah Failure Mode and Effect Criticaly Analysis (FMECA). Dari hasil analisis dan perhitungan yang dilakukan berdasarkan data – data tersebut, maka nilai OEE dari mesin digester dan mesin press dapat diketahui. Kemudian hasil nilai tersebut dilakukan perbandingan dengan keadaan sebelum dan setelah penerapan TPM. Hasil sebelum penerapan diperoleh nilai http://digilib.mercubuana.ac.id/ 2 overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) yang berkisar antara 23,65 % - 24,72 %. Adapun hasil nilai OEE setelah penerapan adalah berkisar antara 27,01 % - 27,04 %. Kata kunci : Sistem Perawatan, Total Productive Maintenance, Failure Mode and Effect Criticaly Analysis ABSTRACT PT. Bangkitgiat Usaha Mandiri (PT. BUM) is part of Nurdin Tampubolon Corporate (NT. Corporation) which is a company engaged in the processing industry palm oil (CPO). This company is still having problems against high oil losses due to the machine not working optimally . One cause of the lack of effective work -optimal engine is system maintenance. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of press machine and digester machine at the press station which not working optimally and find out the cause of high oil output losses of the engine . Total Productive Maintenance ( TPM ) , which is one method that was developed in Japan that can be used to improve the productivity and efficiency of production companies using machinery / equipment effectively . The main purpose of the application of TPM in this company is to identify and reduce the type of damage to critical components of the object of research as well as increase the overall value of equipment efficiency ( OEE ) as a measure of the performance of this study . In addition , the methods used to reduce this type of damage in this study is the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis Criticaly ( FMECA ) . From the analysis and calculations based on data, the value of OEE digester machine and press machine can be known . Then the value of the results of a comparison with the situation before and after the application of TPM .
