Abstract

Inventory problems are consequences arising from a production process, inventory relating to stock inventory, lead time and capital investment for supplies. This study aims to analyze the problem of physical decline caused by the unavailability of equipment availability of spare parts and long delivery times. This research is descriptive analytical describe the reality on the object studied objectively with emphasis on the variable availability of tools to be ready to operate, category breakdown caused by waiting for spare parts, and Lead Time delivery of spare parts. whereas the method used is to classify parts (stock class) further implement EOQ and JIT methods. This method is a strategy and calculations are performed to determine the number of spare parts that must be economical in order and when the time ordering, while JIT generates an inventory strategy that eliminates lead time and minimize the initial investment capital stock with cooperation with suppliers and OEMs, so the service level suppliers be good.
