Abstract

Medical errors or often referred to as medication errors often occur in hospitals, one of the causes is caused by prescription errors (prescription errors) that can improve patient safety and well-being and can improve the quality of the hospital. Therefore a system is needed that can reduce and replace drug errors. The difficulty in reading a doctor's prescription on paper is one of the most common things that can be found in the drug redemption process. The length of time needed in the process of making drugs also becomes a matter that requires quality for patients. With this web-based online recipe can reduce medication errors can provide the right dosage of medication, provide information about history, treatment consultations, and the effects of drugs consumed by patients, the data input process is faster, more efficient in using paper and more practical and can streamline the time of prescribing the drug so that it can improve hospital services Key words: Online prescription drugs, prescription errors, quality improvement Kesalahan medis atau sering kita sebut dengan medication errors sering kali terjadi di rumah sakit,salah satu penyebabnya ialah karena kesalahan penulisan resep (prescription errors) yang dapat mempengaruhi keselamatan dan kesejahteraan pasien serta dapat menurunkan mutu bagi pelayanan rumah sakit tersebut. Karena itu diperlukannya sebuah sistem yang dapat mengurangi dan mencegah terjadinya medication errors . Kesulitan apoteker dalam membaca resep dokter diatas kertas menjadi salah satu hal paling umum yang dijumpai pada proses penebusan obat. Lama waktu yang dibutuhkan dalam proses menyiapkan obat juga menjadi hal yang menjadikan penurunan kualitas mutu pelayanan bagi pasien. Dengan adanya resep online berbasis web ini bisa mengurangi terjadinya medication errors dapat memberikan dosis obat yang tepat, memberikan informasi mengenai riwayat (history) dalam pengobatan sebelumnya, alergi obat-obatan, dan efek dari obat yang dikonsumsi oleh pasien, proses input data lebih cepat, lebih hemat dalam penggunaan kertas dan lebih praktis serta dapat mengefisienkan waktu proses peresepan obat sehingga dapat meningkatkan pelayanan mutu bagi rumah sakit.
