Abstract

Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) based Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communication network implementation using Issabel version 4. open source operating system has been carried out to measure Quality of Services (QoS) on the use of VoIP communication on PT. Jasnita Telekomindo. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a technology that allows long-distance voice conversations through internet media. Voice data is converted into digital code and flowed through a computer network. Voice over Internet Protocol can utilize computer network infrastructure, can use Physical Server or Virtual Machine (VM), IP Phone, SoftPhone and Mobile. To conduct a voice communication between users, so that the cost for communication can be cheaper, especially for long distance direct line communication (SLJJ) between cities. In this case, the operating system used is based on the Private Branch eXchange Internet Protocol (IP PBX), namely Issabel version 4 and the use of the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) protocol. QoS measurement is done through data collection by monitoring packets sent and received by users (end to end point), on PT computer network traffic. Jasnita Telekomindo using the Wireshark application, which filters data packets related to the SIP protocol. Data analysis was performed on Jitter, Packet Loss, and Delay from the results of the data that was taken. Obtained the average value of RTP bandwidth in one communication between users, is 77.53 kbps or 7.75% of 1 Mbps of available bandwidth capacity for users with an average jitter of 3.51 ms, 21.14 ms delay, and 0% packet loss. Based on these results, the smaller the average value of Jitter, Packet Loss and Delay transmitted, it can be indicated that the VoIP communication network is running well. Key words: Voice over Internet Protocol, Issabel version 4 Operating system, Session Initiation Protocol, Quality of Service, Zoiper Softphone and Wireshark Telah dilakukan implementasi jaringan komunikasi Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) berbasis Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) menggunakan sistem operasi open source Issabel versi 4. Untuk pengukuran Quality of Services (QoS) terhadap penggunaan komunikasi VoIP pada jaringan komputer PT. Jasnita Telekomindo. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) adalah teknologi yang memungkinkan percakapan suara jarak jauh melalui media internet. Data suara diubah menjadi kode digital dan dialirkan melalui jaringan komputer. Voice over Internet Protocol dapat memanfaatkan infrastruktur jaringan komputer, dapat menggunakan Server Physical atau Virtual Machine (VM) , IP Phone, SoftPhone dan Handphone. Untuk melakukan sebuah komunikasi suara antar pengguna, sehingga biaya untuk komunikasi dapat menjadi lebih murah, terutama untuk komunikasi Sambungan Langsung Jarak Jauh (SLJJ) antar kota. Dalam hal ini, sistem operasi yang digunakan berbasis Internet Protocol Private Branch eXchange (IP PBX), yaitu Issabel versi 4 dan penggunaan protokol Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). Pengukuran QoS dilakukan melalui pengambilan data dengan cara memonitor paket yang dikirim dan diterima oleh pengguna (end to end point), pada lalu lintas jaringan komputer PT. Jasnita Telekomindo dengan menggunakan aplikasi Wireshark, dimana memfilter paket data yang berhubungan dengan protokol SIP. Analisis data dilakukan terhadap Jitter, Packet Loss, dan Delay dari hasil data yang telah diambil. Diperoleh nilai rata-rata bandwidth RTP dalam satu kali komunikasi antar pengguna, adalah 77.53 kbps atau 7.75% dari 1 Mbps kapasitas bandwidth yang tersedia untuk pengguna dengan rata-rata jitter 1074 ms, delay 0,009970 ms, dan packet loss 0%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, semakin kecil nilai ratarata Jitter, Packet Loss dan Delay yang ditransmisikan, maka dapat diindikasikan bahwa jaringan komunikasi VoIP berjalan dengan baik.
