Abstract

Virtual Office is a type of rental office that does not have physical or non-physical properties that can be used as a legal address for business to obtain office facilities from the service provider. Meeting room lending at the virtual office at Treasury Tower still uses manual forms for meeting room lending and there are often problems such as borrowing rooms in the same schedule by different companies. Therefore, this research aims to implement the forward chaining algorithm for room loan applications meeting at the Treasury tower. This research uses the forwad chaining algorithm to automatically detect the same room loan so that there is no lending problem in the same schedule by different companies, by using four rules that were tested by the white box method five times and resulted in validation of one hundred percent success. Keywords- virtual offices, meeting room lending, forward chaining algorithms, treasury Tower Virtual Office adalah jenis kantor sewa yang tidak memiliki fisik atau non fisik yang bisa digunakan sebagai alamat legal bisnis untuk mendapatkan fasilitas-fasilitas kantor dari sang penyedia jasa. Peminjaman ruangan meeting pada virtual office di Treasury Tower masih menggunakan formulir secara manual untuk peminjaman ruangan meeting dan sering terjadi permasalahan seperti peminjaman ruangan di jadwal yang sama oleh perusahaan yang berbeda.Oleh sebab itu pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan algoritma forward chaining untuk aplikasi peminjaman ruangan meeting di Treasury tower. Penelitian ini menggunakan algoritma forward chaining untuk mendeteksi otomatis peminjaman ruangan yang sama agar tidak terjadi masalah peminjaman di jadwal yang sama oleh perusahaan berbeda, dengan menggunakan empat buah rules yang di uji coba oleh metode white box sebanyak lima kali dan menghasilkan validasi kesuksesan seratus persen.
