Abstract

Demand and public consumption of a number of foodstuffs is predicted to continue to increase in the next decades. This prediction was conveyed by the Indonesian Agricultural Economic Association or Perhepi based on the results of research on the consumption patterns of the Indonesian people in recent years. In this case the Indonesian people find it difficult to order foodstuffs, difficulty in knowing the location of the nearest market, due to lack of free time to shop, looking for food sellers or sellers of unavailable food and not providing the food needed. The problems experienced by the community can be overcome if food sellers sell online and use applications that can notify location tracking, order food remotely using a smartphone by the buyer, so that it can make it easier for buyers to transact and find out what food ingredients which is sold in the market or around the corner by foodstuff sellers on the same day. Keywords: Traditional markets, vegetable baskets, Android, food ordering Permintaan dan konsumsi masyarakat terhadap sejumlah bahan pangan diprediksi akan terus meningkat dalam puluhan tahun ke depan. Prediksi ini disampaikan oleh Perhimpunan Ekonomi Pertanian Indonesia atau Perhepi berdasarkan hasil penelitian pola konsumsi masyarakat Indonesia dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Dalam hal ini masyarakat indonesia kesulitan dalam melakukan pemesanan bahan pangan, kesulitan dalam mengetahui lokasi pasar terdekat, dikarenakan kurangnya waktu senggang untuk berbelanja, mencari penjual atau penjual bahan pangan tidak tersedia dan tidak menyediakan bahan pangan yang dibutuhkan. Masalah yang dialami oleh masyarakat tersebut dapat diatasi jika para penjual bahan pangan, berjualan secara online dan menggunakan aplikasi yang dapat memberi tahu tracking lokasi, memesan bahan pangan secara jarak jauh menggunakan smartphone oleh pembeli, sehingga dapat mempermudah pembeli dalam bertransaksi dan mengetahui bahan pangan apa saja yang dijual dipasar maupun dijual keliling oleh penjual bahan pangan pada hari itu juga.
