Abstract
SMK graduates is the highest unemployment in Indonesia. This community service aims to educate vocational students about the understanding of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 concept. After understanding is realized, vocational students are oriented to be able to identify abilities, both soft skills and hard skills needed in the industrial revolution era 4.0. Understanding by vocational students of the concept and ability to identify things needed in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era will have implications for the readiness of skilled and innovative human resources in the workforce. The method used to realize this goal is in the form of activities such as socialization and workshops, and question and answer. Based on the evaluation results obtained from vocational students through question and answer at the end of the session, students' understanding of the concept of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has increased. In addition, students also know more about the things and needs that will develop in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 after this research. Key words: industrial revolution 4.0, ability, readiness, employement. Lulusan SMK merupakan pengangguran tertinggi di Indonesia. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mengedukasi siswa SMK mengenai pemahaman terhadap konsep Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang tengah berkembang. Setelah pemahaman diwujudkan, siswa SMK diorientasikan untuk dapat mengidentifikasi kemampuan, baik soft skill maupun hard skill yang dibutuhkan di era revolusi industri 4.0. Pemahaman oleh siswa SMK terhadap konsep dan kemampuan mengidentifikasi hal-hal yang dibutuhkan di era Revolusi Industri 4.0 akan berimplikasi pada kesiapan sumber daya manusia yang terampil dan inovatif dalam dunia tenaga kerja. Metode yang digunakan untuk mewujudkan tujuan ini berupa aktivitas seperti sosialisasi dan workshop, dan tanya jawab. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang diperoleh dari siswa SMK melalui tanya jawab di akhir sesi, pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep Revolusi Industri 4.0 mengalami peningkatan. Selain itu, siswa juga lebih mengetahui hal-hal serta kebutuhan yang akan berkembang di era revolusi industri 4.0 setelah dilakukan penelitian ini. Kata kunci: revolusi industri 4.0, kemampuan, kesiapan, tenaga kerja.
