Abstract

Cardiac Arrest is one of several disease categorized as silent killer. Most people have not understood about first aid for cardiac arrest. With technology advancement, first aid especially CPR education can be performed through multimedia application. In this research, author tried to develop desktop-based multimedia application expected to give education and knowledge about CPR first aid for Cardiac Arrest. This multimedia application runs according to its function and it could be able to give a brief explanation about CPR and information related to cardiac arrest. Keywords: Multimedia Application, Desktop Application, CPR, Learning, Cardiac Arrest Cardiac Arrest adalah salah satu dari beberapa penyakit yang dikategorikan sebagai silent killer. Kebanyakan orang belum mengerti tentang pertolongan pertama untuk serangan jantung. Dengan kemajuan teknologi, pertolongan pertama terutama pendidikan CPR dapat dilakukan melalui aplikasi multimedia. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis mencoba mengembangkan aplikasi multimedia berbasis desktop yang diharapkan dapat memberikan edukasi dan pengetahuan tentang pertolongan pertama CPR untuk Cardiac Arrest. Aplikasi multimedia ini berjalan sesuai fungsinya dan bisa memberikan penjelasan singkat tentang RJP dan informasi terkait henti jantung. Kata kunci: Multimedia Application, Desktop Application, CPR, Learning, Cardiac Arrest
