Abstract

The role of the internet as an online-based media or information tool that we can access anytime and anywhere turns out to provide tremendous benefits for every person or aspect of life that exists. the use of online media is indeed an attraction or the right choice for prospective business people and those who already have a business to develop a business that is being run. One of the media that can be used to market the right product is the Website, by marketing products through this website our products can be easily recognized by many people in the country and abroad. WordPress is a very good choice for creating websites for people who don't know the basics of web programming. WordPress itself is open source, with Wordpress prospective entrepreneurs and small and medium businesses easily create their own websites to develop and market their products. Key words: the role of the internet, Website, Wordpress, Entrepreneur Peran internet sebagai sarana atau media informasi berbasis online yang bisa kita akses kapanpun dan dimanapun ternyata dapat memberikan manfaat yang sangat besar bagi setiap orang atau aspek kehidupan yang ada. pemanfaatan media online memang menjadi daya tarik atau pilihan yang tepat bagi calon pelaku usaha maupun yang sudah mempunyai usaha untuk mengembangkan usaha yang sedang dijalankanya. Salah satu media yang bisa digunakan untuk memasarkan produk yang tepat adalah Website, dengan memasarkan produk melalui website ini produk kita dapat dengan mudah dikenal oleh banyak orang di dalam negri maupun luar negri. Wordpress ini menjadi pilihan yang tepat untuk membuat website bagi orang yang tidak mengenal dasar pemrograman web. Wordpress sendiri bersifat open soure, Dengan Wordpress para calon pengusaha dan pelaku UKM dengan mudah membuat website mereka sendiri untuk mengembangkan dan memasarkan produknya.
