Abstract

In the modern era, almost in various fields has been entered into information technology, because it cannot be denied that the presence of information technology is able to make work much easier and more efficient. There are many types of information technology, the Internet is one form of information technology that can reach users far and wide because the presence of smartphones today is the driving factor for the development of the internet without recognizing limitations. Therefore this understanding of information technology must be instilled early in the millennial generation so that they have a basic knowledge of information technology and are able to use it wisely. In the above topic, we students from the University of Mercu Buana want to provide a socialization of our siblings at SD Negeri Rawa Gempol in a community service program that aims to introduce various forms of information technology and use the internet wisely, which is expected to be the output of this activity -adik we have more insight and are able to apply the material we convey to their learning activities and the environment. Pada era modern saat ini hampir di berbagai bidang telah dimasukki oleh teknologi informasi, karena tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa hadirnya teknologi informasi ini mampu membuat pekerjaan menjadi jauh lebih mudah dan lebih efisien. Ada banyak sekali jenis dari teknologi informasi, Internet menjadi salah satu bentuk dari teknologi informasi yang dapat menjangkau user lebih jauh dan luas karena dengan adanya smartphone saat ini yang menjadi faktor pendorong berkembangnya internet tanpa mengenal batasan. Oleh karenanya pemahaman mengenai teknologi informasi ini harus ditanamkan sejak dini kepada para generasi milenial saat ini agar mereka mempunyai dasar pengetahuan mengenai teknologi informasi dan mampu memanfaatkannya dengan bijak. Dalam topik diatas maka kami mahasiswa Universitas Mercu Buana ingin memberikan sebuah sosialisasi terhadap adik-adik kami di SD Negeri Rawa Gempol dalam program pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk mengenalkan macam-macam bentuk teknologi informasi serta pemanfaatan internet dengan bijak, yang diharapkan output dari kegiatan ini adik-adik kami mempunyai wawasan lebih serta mampu menerapkan materi yang kami sampaikan ke dalam kegiatan belajar mereka maupun lingkungan.
