Abstract

The role of the internet as an online media-based means or media turned out to provide enormous benefits for every aspect of life. The use of online media is indeed the right choice for prospective business people as well as those who already have a business to develop the business they are running. One of the media that can be used to market the right product is a website, by marketing products through our product website, it can be easily recognized by all people, both domestic and foreign. WordPress is the right choice for creating websites for people who are not familiar with web programming. WordPress is open source, with wordpress prospective entrepreneurs and small and medium businesses easily create their own websites to develop and market their products. The members of Karang Taruna Griya Permata Cisoka most of them have built a small and medium business, but because of limited knowledge, they cannot market their products more widely and in the end their business does not develop. So from that the purpose of this research is so that later they can make their own website easily, and with the website they have created it is expected to be used to market their products more widely. Keywords: Role of the Internet, Website, Wordpress, Small and Medium Enterprises Peran internet sebagai sarana atau media informasi berbasis online ternyata memberikan manfaat yang sangat besar bagi setiap aspek kehidupan yang ada. Pemanfaatan media online memang menjadi pilihan yang tepat bagi para calon pelaku usaha maupun yang sudah mempunyai usaha untuk mengembangkan bisnis yang sedang dijalankanya. Salah satu media yang bisa digunakan untuk memasarkan produk yang tepat adalah website, dengan memasarkan produk melalui website produk kita dapat mudah dikenal oleh semua orang baik dalam negeri maupun luar negeri. Wordpress menjadi pilihan yang tepat untuk membuat website bagi orang yang tidak mengenal pemrograman web. Wordpress bersifat open source, dengan wordpress para calon pengusaha dan pelaku UKM dengan mudah membuat website mereka sendiri untuk mengembangkan dan memasarkan produknya. Para anggota Karang Taruna Griya Permata Cisoka sebagian besar pernah membangun sebuah usaha kecil menengah, namun karena keterbatasan pengetahuan, maka mereka tidak dapat memasarkan produknya secara lebih meluas dan pada akhirnya usahanya tidak berkembang. Maka dari itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah agar nantinya mereka dapat membuat website sendiri dengan mudah, dan dengan website yang telah mereka buat diharapkan dapat digunakan untuk memasarkan produk UKM (Usaha Kecil Menengah) mereka secara lebih meluas.
