Abstract

Jakarta as the nation capital that has a large population makes some complete problem One of which is Ttraffic Jammed, the need for fast and easy transportation is a must. Congestion that occurs is caused by using private transportation and the use of public transportation which is still not optimal. One transportation fleet that is still not maximal is city transportation. lack of public transportation information, and there is no certainty about the realtime fleet from the location of public transport users less than online transportation that provides prices, lines and whenever the driver will arrive. The use of haversine algorithms can be a solution to provide distance information between users and drivers and use firebase to provide realtime information on the latest location of the transportation fleet. In the research, it is expected to be able to complete information on the fleet of public transportation. Key words: Haversine; Public Transportasion, Firebase, Realtime Tracking Jakarta sebagai Ibu kota Negara yang memiliki penduduk yang padat membuat sejumlah permasalahan salah satunya adalah kemacetan, kebutuhan akan transportasi yang cepat dan efektif menjadi sebuah keharusan. Kemacetan yang terjadi di akibatkan meningkatnya penggunaan transporatsi pribadi dan penggunaan transportasi umum yang masih belum maksimal. Salah satu armada transportasi yang masih belum maksimal adalah angkutan kota. Kurangnya informasi rute setiap angkutan umum yang tersedia, dan tidak adanya kepastian informasi secara realtime posisi armada tersebut dari lokasi user menjadikan angkutan umum kurang diminati dari pada transportasi online yang memberikan kepastian harga, jalur, dan kapan driver tersebut akan datang. Penggunaan algortima haversine dapat menjadi solusi untuk memberikan informasi jarak antara user dengan driver serta penggunaan firebase untuk memberikan informasi secara realtime lokasi terkini dari armada transportasi. Pada penelitian diharapkan dapat menyelesaikan kurangnya informasi armada transportasi umum. Kata kunci: Haversine; Angkutan Umum, Firebase, Realtime Tracking
