Abstract

This writing describes the making of Betawi cultural applications aimed at school children by utilizing technological developments, namely through Android-based smartphones. Making this cultural application uses the Knuth Morris Pratt algorithm and the use of waterfalls and the software used is the android studio. This application displays some content categories related to Betawi culture, including: history, traditional houses, traditional dances, songs, food, drinks and by-by. This application is complete with a comment column to share information about anything want to tell or comment on. This application also provides a search column to make it easier to find out what information you want to find. Based on the results of the trial, this application can run very well in an android device.
