Abstract

ABSTRAK Pemasangan panel surya di dunia industri khususnya di Indonesia sendiri saat ini sudah meningkat jumlahnya hal ini selain didorong oleh peraturan pemerintah, beberapa perusahaan sudah menerapkan aturan untuk menggunakan energi baru terbarukan yang tersedia. Salah satu contoh perusahaan yang menerapkan peraturan tersebut adalah PT Komatsu Indonesia. Berdasarkan kebijakan manajemen PT Komatsu Indonesia yang berisi melanjutkan pelestarian lingkungan dengan aktivitas mengurangi pemakaian energi listrik dan didasari oleh potensi penyinaran sinar matahari yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber energi terbarukan di lingkungan PT Komatsu Indonesia yang cukup besar, yaitu mencapai 1657,9 KWh/m2 maka pada tahun kerja 2020 PT Komatsu Indonesia akan melakukan instalasi panel surya untuk memanfaatkan energi terbarukan dari sinar matahari. Panel surya adalah suatu komponen dioda semikonduktor yang dapat mengubah energi cahaya matahari menjadi energi listrik. Panel surya dapat menghasilkan energi lstrik dengan memanfaatkan efek photovoltaic. Efek photovoltaic itu sendiri adalah suatu fenomena dimana muncul tegangan listrik karena adanya suatu hubungan atau kontak dari dua elektroda, dimana keduanya dihubungkan dengan sistem padatan atau cairan saat mendapatkan energi cahaya. Panel surya yang akan diterapkan di PT Komatsu Indonesia Cibitung Plant adalah rangkaian panel surya dengan sistem on grid kapasitas 320 kWP. Hasil penelitian dengan metode studi literatur dan analisis menggunakan software HelioScope menunjukan bahwa, pemasangan panel surya di PT Komatsu Indonesia Cibitung Plant dengan tipe modul panel surya REC Solar - REC355TP72S72XV dapat menghasilkan energi listrik sebesar 400.646 kWh dalam satu tahun terhitung dari bulan Januari hingga Desember 2020. Total irradiasi atau Global HorizontaI Irradiance (GHI) adalah sebesar 1657,8 kWh/m2 . Sedangkan untuk nilai efektivitas energi listrik yang dihasilkan oleh panel surya adalah sebesar 33,22% dari total kebutuhan energi listrik. Abstract The installation of solar panels in the industrial world, especially in Indonesia itself has increased in number, this is in addition driven by government regulations, several companies have implemented rules to use the renewable energy. One example of a company implementing the regulation is PT Komatsu Indonesia. Based on PT Komatsu Indonesia's management policy which contains continuing environmental preservation by activities to reduce the use of electrical consumption and based on the potential of solar radiation that can be utilized as a renewable energy source in the PT Komatsu Indonesia environment which is quite large, reaching 1657.9 KWh / m 2 then in the fiscal year 2020 PT Komatsu Indonesia will install solar panels to utilize renewable energy from the sun Solar panels are a semiconductor diode component that can convert sunlight energy into electrical energy. Solar panels can produce electricity by utilizing the photovoltaic effect. The photovoltaic effect is a phenomenon in which electrical voltage arises due to a connection or contact of two electrodes, both of which are connected to a solid or liquid system when getting light energy. The solar panels that will be applied at PT Komatsu Indonesia Cibitung Plant are a series of solar panels with on grid system capacity 320 kWP. The results of research with literature study and analysis using HelioScope software show that the installation of solar panels at PT Komatsu Indonesia Cibitung Plant with the type of solar panel module REC Solar - REC355TP72S72XV can produce 400,646 kWh of electricity in one year from January to December 2020. Total irradiation or Global HorizontaI Irradiance (GHI) are 1657.8 kWh / m2. And then, the value of the effectiveness of electrical energy produced by solar panels are 33.22% of the total electrical energy needs.
