Abstract

This study ains to determine and explain the relationship between the use of online dating applications with risky sexual behavior in early adult men. The research method uses a quantitative approach with pearson product moment correlational techniques with sampling techniques using accidental sampling techniques. A sample of 202 respondents were Mercu Buana University aged 20-40 years old, male sex and use an online dating application. The measuring instrument used was the scale of the use of online dating applications, modified by Francisca Vina Oktavia (2017) with cronbach alpha reliability coefficient of 0,870 and scale Safer Sex Behavior Questionnaire by DiIorio, et al (1992) with cronbach alpha reliability coefficient of 0,920. From the analysis of the data it can be concluded in general that the use og online dating applications has to do with risky sexual behavior in a positive direction. Keywords : Online dating application, Risky sexual behavior, Early adulthood Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan hubungan penggunaan aplikasi kencan online dengan perilaku seks berisiko pada laki-laki dewasa awal. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik korelasional pearson product moment dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Sampel sebanyak 202 responden merupakan mahasiswa Universitas Mercu Buana berusia 20-40 tahun, berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan menggunakan aplikasi kencan online. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala penggunaan aplikasi kencan online, hasil modifikasi oleh Francisca Vina Oktavia (2017) dengan koefisien reliabilitas cronbach alpha sebesar 0,870 dan alat ukur Safer Sex Behavior Questionnaire oleh DiIorio, et al (1992) dengan koefisien reliabilitas cronbach alpha sebesar 0,920. Dari analisis data dapat disimpulkan secara umum bahwa penggunaan aplikasi kencan online ada hubungannya dengan perilaku seks berisiko dengan arah positif.
