Abstract

ABSTRAK RANCANG BANGUN PROTOTIPE ALAT PENGUKUR KECEPATAN BENDA DENGAN SENSOR INFRA MERAH Oleh Agung Setiawan Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengukur kecepatan kendaraan yang melintas disirkuit. Sistem ini terdiri dari dua pasang sensor, sensor yang digunakan adalah infra merah dan photodioda. Dua buah sensor ini berfungsi sebagai saklar pada rangkaian. Apabila cahaya pada sensor terhalang, maka sensor akan memberikan respon kepada mikrokontroler untuk mengaktifkan dan mematikan timer dan menjalankan counter. Besar nilai kecepatan yang didapat adalah hasil bagi antara jarak kedua sensor dengan waktu tempuh kendaraan untuk melewati kedua sensor dengan jarak sensor pada prototype 10 cm.Hasil waktu dan kecepatan akan di tampilkan melalui Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian alat hasil pengujian alat yang telah diuji dengan hasil kecepatan yang telah diukur dengan kecepatan 66,67 cm/s , waktu 0.15 (s) , perhitungan manual di dapat hasil presentase kesalahan sebesar 0.89 %. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa keakuratan prototype alat pengukur kecepatan kendaraan dengan sensor infra merah ini sudah cukup baik. Kata Kunci : infra merah, photodioda, mikrokontroler, time, kecepatan. ABSTRACT DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF SPEED MEASURING PROTOTYPE TOOLS WITH RED INFRA SENSOR By Agung Setiawan This system is designed to measure the speed of vehicles passing on the circuit. This system consists of two pairs of sensors, the sensors used are infrared and photodioda. These two sensors function as switches in the circuit. If the light on the sensor is blocked, the sensor will respond to the microcontroller to turn on and turn off the timer and run the counter. The velocity value obtained is the quotient between the distance of the two sensors with the travel time of the vehicle to pass the two sensors with the sensor distance on the prototype of 10 cm. The time and speed results will be displayed via Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). Based on the results of testing the results of testing tools that have been tested with the results of the speed that has been measured with a speed of 66.67 cm / s, time 0.15 (s), the manual calculation can result in an error percentage of 0.89%.
