Abstract
This research aim to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and academic dishonesty the students at X vocational high school in Bekasi. This research use quantitative approach base on type of correlational research. The sample of this research are students from class X-XII majoring in accounting, hospitality, marketing and computer network engineering, there are 301 students include in this research. The methods of data collection is using questionnaire research instruments. The academic dishonesty behavior scale based on Survey on Academic Dishonesty developed by McCabe and self-efficacy scale using General Self-efficacy (GSE) from Schwarzer and Jarusalen. Data analysis techniques use the correlation test of Spearman's with a coefficient values -0.074 and significance value of p=0.201. This research shows there is no relationship between self-efficacy and academic dishonesty of X vocational high school students in Bekasi. Keyword : academic dishonesty, self-efficacy Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara self-efficacy dan kecurangan akademik pada siswa SMK X di Bekasi. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X-XII jurusan akuntansi, perhotelan, pemasaran dan teknik jaringan komputer, diambil sebanyak 301 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian kuisioner. Skala perilaku kecurangan akademik berdasarkan Survey on Academic Dishonety yang dikembangakn McCabe, dan skala self-efficacy menggunakan General Self-efficacy (GSE) dari Schwarzer dan Jarusalem. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman’s dengan nilai koefisien -0.074 dan signifikansi sebesar p=0,201. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan kecurangan akademik siswa SMK X di Bekasi. Kata kunci: kecurangan akademik, self-efficacy
