Abstract
The purpose of this research is to see the relationship between adversity quotient and employees' performance in PT gajah besar. This research is using quantitative method. The population and sample of this research are the employees of pt gajah besar, with total population of 405 person and sample size of 187 person. The sample are taken based on slovin formula and using the stratified random sampling technique. Data are taken by using questionnaire and the company's primary data to see the relationship between adversity quotient and employees performance. Data are analyzed by using SPSS 21.0. Based on the research results, the hypothesis of the relationship between adversity quotient and employees performance in pt gajah besar are confirmed with significance value of p = 0.005 whereas p<0.05. This shows that the variable of adversity quotient has a significant relation to the employees performance in pt gajah besar with correlation coefficient value of 0.207 (positif) and positive regression model. In conclusion, a higher value of adversity quotient results in a higher value of employees performance. Keywords : Adversity Quotient, Employee Performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan adversity quotient dengan kinerja karyawan di PT Gajah Besar. penelitian ini termasuk jenis kuantitatif. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah karyawan pada perusahaan PT. Gajah Besar, dengan jumlah populasi 405 orang dan sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 187 orang yang didapatkan berdasarkan rumus slovin dengan tekhnik pengambilan sampling dengan menggunakan Stratified Random Sampling. Teknik pengambilan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan data primer perusahaan untuk melihat hubungan adversity quotient dengan kinerja karyawan. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisa SPSS 21.0. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, hipotesis yang berjudul hubungan adversity quotient dengan kinerja karyawan di PT. Gajah Besar diterima dengan nilai signifikansi, p = 0,005 dimana p < 0,05. Ini menunjukan bahwa variabel adversity quotient memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhdap kinerja karyawan di PT. Gajah Besar. dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,207 (positif) maka model regresi bernilai positif atau searah, artinya jika nilai variabel adversity quotient tinggi maka nilai variabel kinerja karyawan juga tinggi dan searah.
