Abstract

ABSTRAK PT. NPL merupakan salah satu industri yang bergerak di bidang Farmasi. Dalam melakukan sebuah pengujian untuk mengidentifikasi kandungan suatu obat membutuhkan persediaan bahan kimia. Namun dalam pengelolaan bahan kimia yang dilakukan perusahaan saat ini belum optimal, karena hanya berdasarkan data permintaan sebelumnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh kondisi optimal pengendalian persediaan dari hasil perbandingan metode Q dan metode P menggunakan kriteria total biaya persediaan. Penelitian dimulai dengan melakukan pengelompokkan bahan kimia dengan metode klasifikasi ABC, Metanol dan Acetonitrile menjadi bahan yang perlu dikendalikan persediaannya, karena masuk dalam bahan kimia Range A. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan Januari – Desember 2017. Metode yang sesuai untuk pengendalian persediaan bahan kimia range A pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan Periodic Review System atau metode P. Dari hasil pengolahan data menggunakan metode tersebut terbukti dapat memperoleh tingkat persediaan yang optimal yang berdampak ke penurunan total biaya persediaan. Total biaya persediaan yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode ini sebesar Rp. 23.826.060 untuk metanol dengan efisiensi sebesar 33% dari sebelumnya Rp. 35.657.143 sedangkan untuk bahan kimia acetonitrile total biaya persediaan sebsesar Rp. 14.434.696 dengan efisiensi 54% dari sebelumnya Rp. 31.842.193. Kata Kunci: Pengendalian Persediaan, Continuous Review System (Q), Periodic Review System (P), Klasifikasi ABC. ABSTRACT PT. NPL is one of the industries engaged in the Pharmaceutical sector. In conducting a test to identify the content of a drug requires a supply of chemicals. However, the management of chemicals carried out by the company is currently not optimal, because it is only based on previous data requests. The purpose of this study is to obtain optimal inventory control conditions from the results of the comparison of the Q method and the P method using the criteria for total inventory costs. The study began by grouping chemicals with the classification method ABC, Methanol and Acetonitrile into materials that need to be controlled in inventory, because they are included in chemicals Range A. Data collection was carried out in January - December 2017. Suitable methods for controlling the supply of chemicals range A in this study is to use the Periodic Review System or method P. From the results of data processing using these methods proved to be able to obtain an optimal inventory level which has an impact on the decrease in total inventory costs. The total inventory cost obtained using this method is Rp. 23,826,060 for methanol with an efficiency of 33% from the previous Rp. 35,657,143 while for acetonitrile chemicals the total cost of inventory is Rp. 14,434,696 with an efficiency of 54% from the previous Rp. 31,852,193.
