Abstract

ABSTRAK Kereta Rel Listrik atau yang biasa kita sebut dengan KRL merupakan alat transportasi andalan masyarakat jabodetabek saat ini karena harganya yang terjangkau dan terbebas dari macet. Seiring dengan pertumbuhan masyarakat setiap tahunnya, maka hal ini harus diimbangi juga dengan armada dan penyedia listrik untuk menggerakan KRL tersebut. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah ketika animo masyarakat untuk menggunakan KRL tinggi tetapi KRL yang tersedia sangatlah minim, misal KRL hanya dapat melayani dalam waktu headway 15 menit sekali setiap perjalanan, maka dari itu mampukah KRL melayani masyarakat dengan waktu yang lebih singkat, misal headway 10 menit sekali atau headway 5 menit sekali. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang penulis lakukan di gardu traksi wilayah LAA 1.3 Serpong dengan kapasitas yang ada saat ini gardu traksi dapat menanggung beban ketika KRL dioperasikan setiap headway 15 dan 10 menit sekali, tetapi tidak dengan headway 5 menit sekali, oleh karena itu penulis mencoba menempatkan gardu sisip diantara gardu yang ada sehingga KRL dapat dilayani setiap headway 5 menit sekali. Kata Kunci : Kereta Rel Listrik, Gardu Traksi, Headway. ABSTRACT The Electric Railway or what we usually call the KRL is the mainstay of transportation in Jabodetabek because the price is affordable and free from traffic jams. Along with the growth of the community every year, this must be balanced with the fleet and electricity providers to drive the KRL. The problem that occurs is when the public interest to use KRL is high but the available KRL is very minimal, for example KRL can only serve within 15 minutes of headway every trip, therefore the KRL can serve the community with a shorter time, for example a 10 minute headway or a 5 minute headway. Based on the results of the research that I did in the LAA 1.3 traction substation, Serpong with the current capacity of the traction substation can bear the load when the KRL is operated every 15 and every 10 minutes, but not with a 5 minute headway, therefore the author tries to place the substation insert between existing substations so that the KRL can be serviced every 5 minutes.
