Abstract

ABSTRAK Seiring meningkatnya masyarakat yang menggunakan kendaraan roda empat, hal ini menyebabkan semakin tingginya kebutuhan terhadap lahan parkir, khususnya di mall, perkantoran dan rumah sakit. Sulit bagi kita untuk menemukan slot parkir hal ini dapat menimbulkan kerugugian bagi pihak pengguna yang mengaharuskan mengelilingi lahan parkir agar dapat menemukan slot parkir yang kosong. Dalam penelitian ini dibuat perancangan sebuah sistem yang dapat memonitoring ketersediaan lokasi parkir dalam bentuk prototype menggunakan sensor LDR, mikrokontroler arduino uno dan Aplikasi Desktop Visual Basic sebagai interface monitoring yang akan di tampilkan ke monitor yang mencakup denah dan jumlah kapasitas slot parkir yang tersedia serta LED indikator yang terdapat pada setiap slot. Dari pengujian penelitian ini di mendapatkan hasil alat yang bekerja dengan baik dan dapat menghemat waktu pengguna untuk menemukan slot parkir pada parkir kendaraan roda empat. Kata kunci : parkir, Monitoring, Slot, arduino, LDR ABSTRACT Along with the increasing use of four-wheeled vehicles, this has led to the increasing need for parking lots, especially in malls, offices and hospitals. It is difficult for us to find parking slots, this can cause losses for users who must surround the parking lot in order to find an empty parking slot. In this research the design of a system that can monitor the availability of parking locations in the form of a prototype was used using an LDR sensor, an arduino uno microcontroller and a Visual Basic Desktop Application as a monitoring interface that will be displayed on a monitor that includes a floor plan and the amount of parking slot capacity available and an LED indicator contained in each slot. From testing this research in getting the results of tools that work well and can save users time to find parking slots in four-wheeled vehicle parking.
