Abstract
ABSTRAK Seiring dengan semakin pesatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia, pembangunan gedung – gedung bertingkat, pabrik serta infrastruktur pun ikut bertambah maka kebutuhan penggunaan penggunaan energi pun ikut meningkat. Hal ini sangat dimungkinkan karena banyak nya jumlah peralatan mekanikal dan elektrikan yang dipakai. Seiring pula dengan semakin canggihnya teknologi, kini munculah tantangan baru bagi kita bagaimana melakukan pengontrolan dan memonitor peralatan mekanikal dan elektrikal yang ada secara cepat, tepat, efisien dan berkelanjutan dengan menggunakan management energi yang baik. Berlandaskan pada tuntutan tersebut, terciptalah berbagai ide sebagai solusi dari masalah tersebut salah satunya dengan memakai sistem automatis pada gedung atau dikenal dengan BAS Building Automation System. BAS sendiri merupakan suatu sistem pengendalian dan pemantauan yang terpusat dari seluruh peralatan mekanikal dan electrical yang teredapat dalam suatu gedung. Sistem BAS terdiri dari kumpulan beberapa Direct Digital Controller (DDC) atau Programable Logical Control (PLC) yang mempunyai input dan output baik itu secara analog maupun digital, dimana input dan output tersebut berperan sebagai indikator untuk mengetahui status dari perangkat yang akan dikontrol. Penggunaan sistem BAS untuk mengontrol sistem HVAC pada sebuah pabrik pembuatan obat di Kota Solo menghasilkan optimalisasi baik, dimana dengan menaikan suhu ruangan sebesar 4⁰C akan menyebabkan penurunan kebutuhan energi sebesar 9.59% yang berdampak pada turunnya biaya yang dibayarkan untuk sistem HVAC (Tata Udara). Kata kunci : Building Automation System, HVAC Sistem, Studi kasus HVAC sistem ABSTRACT Along with the rapid growth of the Indonesian economy, the construction of high-rise buildings, factories and infrastructure also increased, the need for energy use also increased. This is very possible because of the large number of mechanical and electrical equipment used. Along with the increasingly sophisticated technology, now new challenges arise for us how to control and monitor existing mechanical and electrical equipment quickly, precisely, efficiently and sustainably using good energy management. Based on these demands, various ideas were created as a solution to the problem, one of which was by using an automatic system in a building or known as the BAS Building Automation System. BAS itself is a centralized control and monitoring system of all mechanical and electrical equipment contained in a building. The BAS system consists of a collection of several Direct Digital Controllers (DDC) or Programmable Logical Control (PLC) that have both analogue and digital inputs and outputs, where the input and output serve as indicators to determine the status of the device to be controlled. The use of the BAS system to control the HVAC system at a drug manufacturing plant in the city of Solo resulted in a good optimization, which by raising the room temperature by 4⁰C would cause a decrease in energy requirements of 9.59% which resulted in lower costs paid for the HVAC system (Air Conditioning).
