Abstract
The concept in the world of architecture is increasingly developing, one of which is the concept of Islamic Architecture. Islamic architecture itself is a concept in which the concept of Islam is applied, in this case, what is meant by the concept of Islam refers to the Qur'an, the Hadith, or the theory of Muslim scholars. But the concept of Islam itself in architecture, especially mosques, is often interpreted as a symbol like a dome or tower, whereas in the Qur'an there is no information that the mosque must have both of these things. Therefore, this research will explain the application of Islamic concepts in the Asmaul Husna Gading Serpong Grand Mosque building. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, the data obtained through observation has then analyzed the results of observations with the results of literature studies on Islamic concepts. The results show that the Grand Mosque of Asmaul Husna Gading Serpong applies the Islamic concept to its design elements including in the interior and space, colors and ornaments. Keywords: Islamic Concepts, Mosque, Islamic Architecture, Design Conce Konsep dalam dunia arsitektur semakin berkembang, salah satunya adalah konsep Arsitektur Islam. Arsitekur Islam sendiri merupakan sebuah konsep yang di dalamnya menerapkan konsep Islam, dalam hal ini yang dimaksud konsep Islam mengacu pada Al- Qur’an, Hadist, atau teori cendikiawan muslim. Namun konsep Islam sendiri pada arsitektur khususnya masjid sering kali diartikan sebagai simbolitas seperti halnya kubah atau menara, padahal dalam Al-Qur’an tidak ada keterangan bahwa masjid wajib memiliki kedua hal tersebut. Oleh karena itu penilitian ini akan mengjelaskan mengenai penerapan konsep Islam pada bangunan Masjid Raya Asmaul Husna Gading Serpong. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, data yang diperoleh melalui observasi kemudian dilakukan analisa terhadap hasil observasi dengan hasil studi literatur mengenai konsep Islam. Hasilnya menunjukan bahwa Masjid Raya Asmaul Husna Gading Serpong menerapkan konsep Islam pada elemen-elemen perancangannya antara lain pada bagian ruang dan dalam, warna dan ornamen. Kata kuci: Konsep Islam, Masjid, Arsitektur Islam, Konsep Perancangan
