Abstract
In evacuating visitors, the stairway is one of the factors that influence the optimization of the evacuation process to ensure the safety of building visitors, so an analysis of the building's physical performance is needed. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by means of case studies on building objects of the Multipurpose Building, which are then elaborated and analyzed to draw conclusions in solving various problems that arise. The results obtained that the condition of the stairs in the multipurpose building Al - Muhajirien Bekasi is sufficient to meet the standards, and there are still deficiencies that do not meet the standards, but this can be tolerated because the available standards are not specifically intended for large open layout buildings, but rather aimed at for buildings in general. Dalam mengevakuasi pengunjung, jalur tangga merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi optimasi proses evakuasi untuk menjamin keselamatan pengunjung gedung, sehingga diperlukan analisis performa fisik gedung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara studi kasus pada objek bangunan Gedung Serba Guna, yang kemudian dijabarkan dan dianalisis untuk ditarik kesimpulan dalam memecahakan berbagai permasalahan yang timbul. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa kondisi tangga pada Gedung Serba Guna Al – Muhajirien Bekasi sudah cukup memenuhi standar, dan masih terdapat kekurangan yang belum memenuhi standar, namun hal ini dapat ditolelir karena standar yang tersedia tidak secara spesifik ditujukan untuk bangunan luas yang open layout, melainkan ditujukan untuk bangunan gedung secara umum.
