Abstract

ANALISA PENGARUH AMPERE DAN WAKTU PENGELASAN TERHADAP KABEL OUTPUT (-) MESIN LAS OTC DAIHEN DI PT. SUMITOMO CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY INDONESIA Budi Alfian Teknik Elektro, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Mercu Buana Email : [email protected] Abstrak Proses maintenance (pemeliharaan) merupakan kegiatan yang harus dilakukan dalam dunia industri. Kegiatan pemeliharaan merupakan usaha menjaga agar suatu benda atau mesin dapat memberikan nilai fungsi yang optimal selama masa kerjanya. Proses mempertahankan fungsi menjadi sangat penting dalam dunia industri. Design of Experiments adalah salah satu perkakas yang digunakan dalam praktek-praktek Lean Six Sigma berupa pendekatan sistematik untuk menginvestigasi suatu sistem atau proses. Experimental Design dapat digunakan untuk merujuk kepada aktifitas yang sangat efektif untuk mengurangi biaya desain dengan cara mempercepat proses desain, mengurangi perubahan desain-desain rekayasa di tahap lanjutan, serta mengurangi kompleksitas material berdasarkan perhitungan minitab. Pada ketebalan plat 12mm dengan metode horizontal fillet ukuran wire 1.4mm menggunakan 300- 340 ampere dengan voltase 32 – 34 volt. Namun jika pada ketebalan plat 12mm dengan metode down fillet ukuran wire 1.4mm menggunakan 320-350 ampere dengan voltase 33 – 36 volt. Lebih besar penggunaan arus pada metode down fillet. Hanya saja untuk brand yang pertama memiliki diameter penghantar (12.54mm) dan tebal isolator (4.53) yang lebih tebal secara aktual. Maintenance activities are efforts to keep an object or machine can provide optimal function value during its working period. The process of maintaining function becomes very important in the industrial world. Design of Experiments is one of the tools used in Lean Six Sigma practices in the form of a systematic approach to investigating a system or process. Experimental Design can be used to refer to activities that are very effective in reducing design costs by speeding up the design process, reducing engineering design changes at an advanced stage, and reducing material complexity based on Minitab calculations. At a plate thickness of 12mm with a horizontal fillet method the size of a 1.4mm wire uses 300-340 amperes with a voltage of 32-34 volts. However, if the thickness of the plate is 12mm using the down fillet method the size of the 1.4mm wire uses 320-350 amperes with a voltage of 33-36 volts. Greater use of current in the down fillet method. It's just that for the first brand has a conductor diameter (12.54mm) and thicker insulator (4.53) which is actually thicker.
