Abstract

ABSTRAK Absensi merupakan suatu proses pencatatan kehadiran dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar mengajar. Absensi secara manual memiliki berbagai kekurangan seperti kemungkinan terjadinya kesalahan dalam pencatatan absensi dan manipulasi absensi. Kekurangan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan memanfaatkan teknologi RFID, setiap guru/pengajar tidak perlu lagi mengisi form absensi karena data kehadirannya akan teridentifikasi secara otomatis oleh reader RFID dan tersimpan didalam database sistem. Sistem absensi sidik jari dengan menggunakan sebuah alat fingerprint yaitu peralatan presensi canggih yang dapat merekam sidik jari seseorang, dengan hal ini diharapkan dapat menghindari kesalahan absensi dan manipulasi absensi. Alat yang dibuat dalam Tugas Akhir ini digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi gelombang radio dan sidik jari. Menggunakan tiga buah perangkat utama, yaitu tags, reader module dan fingerprint module. Disinkronisasi dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler arduino nano sehingga dapat menghasilkan database absensi siswa secara akurat. Hasil Tugas Akhir ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem absensi dengan menggunakan tag RFID dan Fingerprint berbasis arduino nano dapat berhasil dan menghasilkan database absensi secara otomatis. Data absensi tersebut berupa Nomor Id Siswa, Nama Siswa, Tanggal, Jam Masuk / Jam Keluar. Kata kunci : Absensi siswa, RFID, Fingerprint, Arduino Nano ABSTRACT Attendance is a process of recording attendance in participating in teaching and learning activities. Manual attendance has various disadvantages such as the possibility of errors in recording attendance and attendance manipulation. These deficiencies can be overcome by utilizing RFID technology, each teacher / instructor no longer needs to fill in attendance forms because his attendance data will be identified automatically by the RFID reader and stored in the system database. Fingerprint attendance system using a fingerprint device that is sophisticated attendance equipment that can record a person's fingerprints, with this expected to avoid attendance errors and attendance manipulation. The tool created in this Final Project is used to identify radio waves and fingerprints. Using three main devices, namely tags, reader module and fingerprint module. Synchronized using arduino nano microcontroller so that it can produce a student attendance database accurately. The results of this Final Project show that the attendance system using RFID tags and Arduino nano-based Fingerprint can be successful and generate attendance database automatically.
