Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of competence and motivation on employee performance either partially or simultaneously. This study uses research instruments such as questionnaires distributed to the employees of PT. Telkomsel. The sampling method used is the census because the number of employees only 115 people. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that simultaneous (test F) the competence and motivation have a significant influence on employee performance. Partial test results show that the competence variables have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Telkomsel. Motivation variables have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Telkomsel. Keywords: competence, motivation, employee performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada para karyawan PT. Telkomsel. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah metode sensus karena jumlah karyawan hanya sebanyak 115 orang. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan (uji F) kompetensi dan motivasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil pengujian secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa variabel kompetensi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Telkomsel. Variabel motivasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Telkomsel Kata kunci: kompetensi, motivasi, kinerja karyawan
