Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the role of individual characteristics such as gender, marital status, job tenure, knowledge, age, and job level to job satisfaction at Divisi Strategi dan Pengembangan Operasi-Layanan (DPOL) PT Bank Central Asia, Tbk. Questioner to 135 respondents be used to get primary data for this study, and than used some previous research, and also some literature to get secondary data. The result showed that gender, marital status, and knowledge do not have any role to job satisfaction. Only job tenure, age, and job level have role to job satisfaction. Management just gift some facility to the officer who have high level and if officer want to get high level, they must have a long job tenure. Keywords : individual characteristics, gender, marital status, job tenure, knowledge, age, job level, job satisfaction Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisa peran karakteristik individu, yang terdiri dari jenis kelamin, status pernikahan, masa kerja, latar belakang pendidikan, usia, dan tingkat jabatan terhadap kepuasan kerja Karyawan Divisi Strategi dan Pengembangan Operasi-Layanan (DPOL) PT Bank Central Asia, Tbk. Untuk mendapatkan data primer digunakan kuesioner kepada 135 responden dan untuk data sekunder dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya serta beberapa literatur. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa jenis kelamin, status pernikahan, dan latar belakang pendidikan tidak memiliki peran terhadap kepuasan kerja. Hanya masa kerja, usia, dan tingkat jabatan berperan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Manajemen perusahaan memberikan fasilitas tambahan kepada pekerja yang eselonnya lebih tinggi. Tingkat jabatan seseorang berhubungan dengan panjangnya masa kerja.
