Abstract

Human resource is holding the important role in a company because they are drivers to do company’s activities. Productivity is would not increase if the employees of company does not have willing to work, even though they already having modern tools. So, it needs a scientific research about discipline, job satisfaction and work productivity. This research is done at PT Columbia Chrome Indonesia.. The method used is the survey method. The reseach samples are taken by using simple random sampling. and the total respondents are 120 persons. The data analysis uses descriptive analysis and the hypotesis test uses ‘moment product correlation’ (Person correlation) and multiple linear regration model. The research results show that the discipline, job satisfaction and the employee’s productivity are categorized good. While based on the result of hypothesis test using the analysis of multiple linear regression, partially the discipline has influence to the productivity ((th : 5,891> ttabel :1,980; p: 0,00 < sig. 0,05)); however, job satisfaction gives the positive and significant infuence on employee’s productivity (thitung: 4,727 > ttabel : 1,980 ; p: 0,00 < sig. 0,05), and it is simultantly known that both of the free variables give the positive and significant influence on employee’s productivity ((Fh:37,905>Ft :3,07;R2 : 0,393 or 39.3 % of employee’s productivity variations are described by the variables of discipline and job satisfaction ). Simultantly, the variables of discipline and job satisfaction achievement give the positive and significant influence on the employee’s productivity. In this case, it is concluded that discipline and job satisfaction of PT Columbia Chrome Indonesia is important things to the growth of employee’s productivity.Sumber daya manusia memegang peranan penting dalam perusahaan karena sebagai penggerak segala usaha dan aktivitas yang ada di perusahaan. Meskipun perusahaan memiliki alat-alat canggih sekalipun tetapi tidak didukung oleh adanya karyawan yang memiliki dedikasi tinggi dalam bekerja maka produktivitas kerja perusahaan tidak dapat meningkat. Oleh karena itu perlu kiranya dilakukan kajian secara ilmiah melalui penelitian tentang pengaruh disiplin dan kepuasan kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PT Columbia Chrome Indonesia yang bergerak dalam pembuatan dan perbaikan unit hydraulic dan pneumatic cylinder, excavator, wheel loader, dozer, compactor, body builder, dan ChromeLite. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara simple random sampling dan jumlah responden keseluruhan sebesar 120 orang. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan korelasi produk moment (korelasi Pearson) dan model regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja, kepuasan kerja dan produktivitas karyawan masuk dalam kategori baik. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda, secara parsial disiplin kerja memberikan pengaruh terhadap produktivitas karyawan (thitung : 5,891> ttabel :1,980; p: 0,00 < sig. 0,05), namun untuk kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas karyawan (thitung: 4,727 > ttabel : 1,980 ; p: 0,00 < sig. 0,05). Dan secara simultan diketahui bahwa kedua variabel bebas tadi memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas karyawan (Fh : 37,905 > Ft : 3,07; R2 : 0,393 atau 39,3 % variasi produktivitas karyawan dijelaskan oleh variabel disiplin kerja dan kepuasan kerja). Dari hasil penelitian ini secara parsial diperoleh suatu fakta secara simultan variabel disiplin kerja dan kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas karyawan. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa disiplin dan kepuasan kerja di PT Columbia Chrome Indonesia merupakan faktor yang sangat penting bagi peningkatan produktivitas.
