Abstract

ABSTRAK Sistem pentanahan peralatan pada umumnya menggunakan batang-batang elektroda, suatu sistem pentanahan yang sudah terpasang harus dapat perhatian dan perawatan yang baik. Untuk mendapatkan hasil sistem pentanahan yang baik diperlukan suatu elektroda yang baik karena dapat mempengaruhi efektifitas hantaran arus bocor, sehingga peralatan akan lebih terjamin dan keamaan operator. Maka perlu dilakukan pengevaluasian pentanahan terhadap peralatan listrik, terlebih terdapat beberapa kasus yang mengakibatkan kecelakaan pada operator berupa tersengat listrik atau kesetruman dikarenakan ketidaklayakan pentanahan pada peralatan listrik. Dalam pengevalusian kelayakan nilai pentanahan pada distribusi transformator 60/80 MVA 150/20 KV di PLTGU PT. Cikarang Listrindo Tbk menggunakan tiga metode, yaitu dengan metode pengukuran dengan menggunakan alat ukur Digital Earth Tester, perhitungan dan perhitungan menggunakan Matlab. Sistem pentanahan yang baik pada peralatan listrik harus memiliki nilai pentanahan dibawah 5 Ohm sesuai dengan PUIL sehingga operator / inspector lapangan dapat melakukan pekerjaan inspeksi ataupun maintenancenya pada lapangan dapat berjalan dengan aman. Hal tersebut dapat dipengaruhi berdasarkan tempatnya serta tahanan pentanahannya. Kata Kunci : Sistem Pentanahan, Elektroda, Resistansi ABSTRACT Grounding System for electrical equipment usually using electrode rod. Grounding System which had been installed must have good attention and treatment. To get the result of grounding system, we need good electrode because can effect resist of current so the equipment will be more guaranteed, and more safety for field electrical operator. Because that, we need to check and evaluate grounding system for electrical equipment, and as we know we have any case of accident because bad grounding system in electrical equipment. In evaluation of grounding for distribution transformator 60/80 MVA 150/20 Kv at PLTGU PT. Cikarang Listrindo Tbk using three methods, there are measuring with Digital Earth Tester, calculation based formula, and calculation using MATLAB. Grounding system for electrical equipment must have grounding result below 5 Ohm considering PUIL, so field electrical inspector can doing electrical inspection or maintenance for the equipment more safety. For factor of grounding result is following field of the grounding and electrode rod. Keywords: Grounding system, Electrode, Resistance
