Abstract

This type of research is descriptive analysis, namely describing, recording, analyzing and interpreting conditions in a particular period that occur in an object of research, so that this study does not test hypotheses but describes information and analysis in accordance with the conditions under study and interpret. The purpose of this study is to find out the performance of food companies and industry in 2013 to 2017, and to find out which companies are worth investing. The results of the research that has been carried out show that the financial performance of the 2013-2017 Food and Beverage Sub-Sector has a good performance. This condition can be seen from the level of liquidity ratio which tends to increase. Judging from the level of solvency ratio shows poor performance. Judging from the level of activity ratio the company's ability shows effective performance in managing its assets. And the results of the level of profitability ratios show that good performance, as well as being an assessment for investors to companies in making investment decisions. Keywords: Analyze Financial statements, financial ratios, financial performance\ Jenis penenelitian ini adalah deskriptif analisis, yaitu mendeskripsikan, mencatat, menganalisis dan mengintepretasikan kondisi-kondisi pada periode tertentu yang terjadi pada suatu obyek penelitian, sehingga penelitian ini tidak melakukan uji hipotesis melainkan mendiskripsikan informasi dan analisis sesuai dengan kondisi yang diteliti dan mengitepretasikan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ntuk mengetahui kinerja perusahaan makanan dan minuaman pada tahun 2013 sampai dengan tahun 2017, serta untuk mengetahui perusahaan mana yang layak untuk berinvestasi. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukan kinerja keuangan Perusahaan Makanan dan Minuman tahun 2013-2017 memiliki kinerja yang baik. Kondisi ini dapat dilihat dari tingkat rasio likuiditas yang cenderung meningkat. Dilihat dari tingkat rasio solvabilitas menunjukkan kinerja yang kurang baik. Dilihat dari tingkat rasio aktivitas kemampuan perusahaan menunjukan kinerja yang efektif dalam mengelola aktiva-aktivanya. Dan hasil tingkat rasio profitabilitas menunjukan bahwa kinerja yang baik, serta menjadi penilaian bagi investor terhadap perusahaan dalam mengambil keputusan tempat investasi.
