Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Return On Assets, Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio and Cash Position on the Dividend Payout Ratio of the Automotive Sub-Sector and Components Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 - 2020. The data used in this study is secondary data. The population in this study are all automotive and component sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015-2020 period with a total sample of 48 of the 8 companies selected according to the sample criteria. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling method. The data analysis method used descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 25 software. The results showed that partially the return on assets and debt to equity ratio had no effect on the dividend payout ratio, while the current ratio and cash position had a significant positive effect on the dividend payout ratio. And simultaneously return on assets, current ratio, debt to equity ratio and cash position affect the dividend payout ratio. Keywords: Return On Asset, Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio,Cash Position and Dividend Payout Ratio Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa Pengaruh Return On Asset, Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio dan Cash Position terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio Sub Sektor Otomotif dan Komponen yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2015 - 2020. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah semua perusahaan sub sektor otomotif dan komponen yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode tahun 2015-2020 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 48 dari 8 perusahaan terpilih sesuai kriteria sampel. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi berganda dengan menggunakan software SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara parsial return on asset dan debt to equity ratio tidak berpengaruh terhadap dividend payout ratio, sedangkan current ratio dan cash position berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap dividend payout ratio. Dan secara simultan return on asset, current ratio, debt to equity ratio dan cash position berpengaruh terhadap dividend payout ratio.
