Abstract
ABSTRACT This research is a qualitative research descriptive approach. The conducted of this research purposed to the value of quality in PT. Baria Bulk Terminal. The subjects in this study were PT. Baria Bulk Terminal and the object of this research is in the form of cost of quality in the company. This research analyzes the data used to analyze the quality cost reports released by PT. Baria Bulk Terminal. Data collection methods used is the documentation by observing the documents or records that exist in the company as well as the interview method and then analyzed with descriptive. The results of this study indicate that the defect in the product is due to the lack of utilization on costs such as cost of quality, training and laboratory fees that are in the company, it can be seen from the report those costs on the year 2015. Key words: Quality Cost ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan dekriptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui biaya kualitas pada PT. Baria Bulk Terminal. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah PT. Baria Bulk Terminal dan obyek penelitian ini adalah berupa biaya kualitas dalam perusahaan. Analisis data dilakuakan dengan menganalisis laporan biaya kualitas yang dikeluarkan oleh PT. Baria Bulk Terminal. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi dengan mengamati dokumen atau catatan-catatan yang ada di perusahaan serta dengan metode wawancara kemudian dianalisis dengan deskritif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecacatan pada produk ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemanfaatan pada biaya-biaya kualitas, seperti biaya pelatihan dan biaya laboratorium yang ada di perusahaan, hal ini dapat dilihat dari laporan biaya tersebut pada tahun 2015.
