Abstract
ABSTRAK Perusahaan Kosmetik adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang kosmetik yang terletak di Cikini, Jawa Barat. Perusahaan kosmetik merupakan perusahaan yang berbasis home industry dengan memanfaatkan ruang kosong yang terdapat pada rumah pribadi pemilik perusahaan. Ada 3 fasilitas yang letaknya jauh dari fasilitas lain yaitu gudang stiker, gudang kemasan, dan area batch number padahal fasilitas tersebut sangat penting karena merupakan bagian penyuplai kemasan ke area filling. Jarak dari area batch number menuju ruang filling yaitu 17 meter dengan frekuensi sebanyak 6 kali, yang menyebabkan kelelahan bagi para pekerja dari perusahaan kosmetik ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memperbaiki tata letak atau layout fasilitas pada proses produksi untuk mengurangi jarak tempuh dan ongkos material handling supaya bisa mengurangi kelelahan yang diderita pekerja. Adapun perancangan tata letak fasilitas ini menggunakan metode Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) dengan beberapa tools yang digunakan meliputi Acticity Relationship Chart (ARC), Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD) dan From To Chart (FTC). Berdasarkan pengumpulan dan pengolahan data, tata letak awal memiliki jarak tempuh 237 meter, tata letak usulan 1 memiliki jarak tempuh 227 meter, tata letak usulan 2 memiliki jarak 221 meter dan ongkos material handling tata letak awal sebesar Rp. 47.731,80, tata letak usulan 1 Rp. 45.717.80, tata letak usulan 2 Rp. 44.509,40. Kata Kunci : Tata Letak, Ongkos Material Handling, Systematic Layout Planning (SLP), Activity Relationship Chart (ARC), Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD), From To Chart (FTC) ABSTRACT Cosmetic company is a company engaged in the field of cosmetics located in Cikini, West Java. Cosmetic company is a home based industrial company by utilizing the free space contained in the private home of the company owner. There are 3 facilities that are located far from other facilities such as sticker warehouse, packing warehouse, and batch number area while the facility is very important because it is a part of packaging supply to the filling area. Distance from the area of the batch number to the filling room is 17 meters with a frequency of 6 times, which causes fatigue for the workers of this cosmetic company. The purpose of this research is to improve the layout or layout of facilities in the production process to reduce mileage and cost of material handling in order to reduce the fatigue suffered by workers. The layout design of this facility uses the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method with some of the tools used including Acticity Relationship Chart (ARC), Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD) and From To Chart (FTC). Based on data collection and processing, the initial layout has a distance of 237 meters, the layout of the proposal 1 has a distance of 227 meters, the layout of the proposal 2 has a distance of 221 meters and cost material handling the initial layout of Rp. 47.731,80, Layout proposed 1 Rp. 45.717,80, Layout proposed 2 Rp. 44.509,40.
