Abstract

ABSTRAK Carpet adalah komponen interior penting pada mobil yang diproduksi oleh Manufaktur Kendaraan 4W. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah, kedua bagian karpet yang terdaftar di Manufaktur Kendaraan 4W, sebagai barang yang dipasok oleh PT. A-Cibitung. Untuk menghemat biaya, oleh PT. A komponen Front carpet disubcount ke PT. B. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah PT. B tidak mengirimkan Front carpet ke PT. A, namun langsung mengirimkan front carpet ke Manufaktur Kendaraan 4W, ketidaksesuaian tersebut berdampak pada adanya pemborosan (muda) hingga 50% pada stok carpet yang seharusnya 48 unit menjadi 98 unit/siklus, efek samping dari bertambahnya stok berdampak pula pada penambahan area penyimpanan, penambahan proses penggabungan dan pelipatan carpet di internal Manufaktur Kendaraan 4W. Penerapan metode Just In Time dengan pemindahan proses pelipatan ke pihak pemasok yang berdampak pada tercapainya tujuan untuk mendapatkan flow process supply part carpet yang lebih baik dari 10 tahapan menjadi 5 tahapan setelah penerapan metode Just In Time. Hasil perbaikan menunjukkan terjadinya pengurangan muda sebesar 50% pada aspek standar stok, flow process dan pengemasan, 45% pada aspek area penyimpanan, 37% pada aspek jumlah ritase perjalanan truk, dan peningkatan efisiensi dalam beban kerja 20% setelah penerapan metode Just In Time. Kata Kunci: Just-in Time, Pemborosan, Efisiensi, Carpet, Supply. ABSTRACT A carpet is an important interior component in cars manufactured by 4W Vehicle Manufacturing. The constraints faced are, the two parts of the carpet that are registered in the 4W Vehicle Manufacturing, as goods supplied by PT. A-Cibitung. To save costs, PT. A, the front carpet component was subcounted to PT. B. The problem that arises is that PT. B does not send the Front carpet to PT. A, but directly sends the front carpet to 4W Vehicle Manufacturers, the mismatch has an impact on waste (muda) up to 50% on the carpet stock which should have been 48 units to 98 units / cycle, the effect Aside from the increase in stock, it also has an impact on the addition of storage areas, the addition of the merging process and the folding of the carpet in the internal 4W Vehicle Manufacturing. The application of the Just In Time method by transferring the folding process to the supplier has an impact on the achievement of the goal of getting a better carpet part supply flow process from 10 stages to 5 stages after the application of the Just In Time method. The results of the improvements show the achievement of the target of reducing youth by 50% in the standard aspects of stock, flow process and packaging, 45% in the storage area aspect, 37% in the aspect of the number of truck trips, and an increase in efficiency in the workload by 20% after the application of the Just In Time method.
