Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between agreeableness with self-caompassion in prisoners and class II A prison institutions in Salemba. Self-compassion in this study uses two-factor analysis, namely self-compassionate attitude and self-critical attitude. Self-compassionate attitude consists of self-kindness, common huanity and mindfulness, while self-critical attitude consists of self-judgment, isolation and over-identification. Research subjects were 330 inmates using accidental sampling techniques. This quantitative study uses an agreeableness scale adaptation from IPIP-Neo and self-compassion (SCS). The methode for this research using the quantitative methode and the whole analysis for variabel using The spearman correlation methode. The self-compassion was measured by Confirmatory Factor Analysis to confirm that self-compassion has two different factor consist by Self-compassionate attitude and self-crtical attitude. Result of this study shows that there is a significant corellation between agreeableness d self-compassion with two factors. Agreeableness with self-compassionate attitude has a significant positive relationship (r = 0.395; p <0.05) and another result there is a negative significant relationship between agreeableness with self-critical attitude (r = -0.144; p <0.05). The conclusion is the higher agreeableness, the higher self-compassionate attitude and then the lower self-critical attitude. Keyword : Agreeableness, Self-Compassion, Two Factor, Inmate Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara agreeableness dengan self-caompassion pada narapidana dilembaga pemasyarakatan klas II A salemba. Self-compassion pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis dua faktor yaitu self-compassionate attitude dan self-critical attitude. Pada self-compassionate attitude terdiri dari self-kindness, common huanity dan mindfulness, sedangkan untuk self-critical attitude terdiri dari self-judgement, isolation dan over-identification. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 330 narapidana dengan menggunakan teknik aksidental sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan adaptasi skala agreeableness dari IPIP-Neo dan self-compassion scale (SCS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis keseluruhan menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi Spearman. Teknik pengolahan data self-compassion menggunakan metode analisis dua faktor melalui uji Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) untuk mengkonfirmasi adanya dua faktor berbeda yang terdiri dari self-compassionate attitude dan self-critical attitude. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan dengan agreeableness dengan self-compassion dengan 2 faktor. Korelasi antara agreeableness dan self-compassionate attitude memiliki hubungan signifikan secara positif (r = 0,395; p < 0,05) dan sebaliknya terdapat hubungan signifikan secara negatif anara agreeableness dengan self-critical attitude (r = -0,144; p < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi agreeableness maka semakin tinggi self-compassionate attitude dan akan semakin rendah self-critical attitude.
