Abstract
The purpose of this research was to test relationship between self-confidence and achievement motivation in basketball club students. The number of subjects used in this research was 70 people designed by using purposive sampling technic. The data was collected by using a measuring instrument called self confidence scale and achievement motivation scale through an offline questionnaire system. Each scale had reliability as much as 0.916 for the self-confidence scale test and 0.933 for achievement motivation Scale test. The analysis result used pearson product moment analysis showed there was a significant relationship between self-confidence and achievement motivation. The correlation coeffition obtained r=0,114 and P=0,174 > 0,05. The results show there is no relationship between self-confidence and achievement motivation in Basketball Club Students Keywords: Self-confidence, achievement motivation, students, basketball Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan kepercayaan diri dengan motivasi berprestasi pada anggota club basket yang berstatus sebagai siswa. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 70 orang dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur skala kepercayaan diri dan Mc. Clelland mo melalui sistem kuesioner offline. Masing-masing memiliki reliabilitas sebesar 0,916 untuk skala kepercayaan diri dan 0,933 untuk skala motivasi berprestasi. Hasil analisis menggunakan analisa koefisien korelasi pearson product moment menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dengan motivasi berprestasi. Koefisien korelasi yang diperoleh r=0,114 dan P = 0,174 > 0,5. Hasil menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dengan motivasi berprestasi pada siswa anggota club basket.
