T he research m ethod use d is d e s c rip tiv e a n d c a u s a l, th e d a ta c olle cte d b a s e d o n q u a r te rly fin a n c ial r e p or tin g d ata in 2 0 0 6 u ntil 2 0 0 9 , a n d u s in g m u ltiple r e g re s s io n a n aly sis . R e s u lts of a n a ly sis c o n clu d e d th a t th e le ve r a g e a n d th e le v e l of c o r p o r ate a c tiv ity h a v e a negative im p a c t o n e c o n o m ic p r ofita bility w h ile th e le ve l of c or p o r a te liq u idity is a p o sitiv e influence . S im ila r ly , eith er p a r tia lly o r s im u lta n e o u s ly m e a s u r e d th r e e v ar ia ble s h a s a s ig n ific a nt e ffe c t o n th e d e p e n d e nt v a r ia ble . W hile th e c o e fficie n t of d e ter m in a tio n to see the h u g e in flu e n c e of th e le v el o f liq uid ity , le v e r a g e a n d th e lev e l o f c o r p o r ate a c tiv ity in in flu e nc in g th e e c o n o m ic p r ofita b ility o f P T .
