Abstract

Administration Faculty of Computer Science University of Mercu Buana is the administrative management center of 2 courses of information systems and informatics techniques that have administrative functions such as correspondence. Based on existing problems the process of introduction of the introduction letter of research at this time still using Microsofot Word. This has resulted in some obstacles to the administrative performance of computer science faculty. Students who want to submit an introductory letter of research should first come to the faculty to fill data data required of course this will take the process of making a letter of submission of research introduction final project. From the conclusion was made an application to submit an introductory letter of research the final task of a website that will help students to submit a letter of introduction to online research and accelerate the administrative work of faculty of computer science in the management of letters submission pengatar research final project. Keywords: Introduction Letter of Research, Administration, Website, Application Tata usaha Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Mercu Buana merupakan pusat pengelolaan administrasi dari 2 program studi sistem informasi dan teknik informatika yang memiliki fungsi administrasi seperti surat-menyurat. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada proses pengajuan surat pengantar penelitian pada saat ini masih menggunakan Microsofot Word. Hal ini mengakibatkan beberapa kendala pada kinerja tata usaha Fakultas Ilmu Komputer. Mahasiswa yang ingin mengajukan surat pengantar penelitian harus telebih dahulu datang ke pihak fakultas untuk mengisi data data yang diperlukan tentu hal ini akan memakan waktu proses pembuatan surat pengajuan pengatar penelitian tugas akhir, Maka dari itu dibuatlah aplikasi untuk mengajukan surat pengantar penelitian tugas akhir berbasi website yang akan membatu mahasiswa untuk mengajukan surat pengantar penelitian secara online dan mempercepat pekerjaan tata usaha fakultas ilmu komputer dalam pengelolaaan surat pengajuan pengatar penelitian tugas akhir Kata Kunci: Surat Pengantar Penelitian, Tata Usaha, Website, Aplikasi
