Abstract

This research examines the effect of the influence of Forgiveness Therapy on Resilience in Mothers with have Children with Special Needs. This research is a quasi-experimental research who respondents of Mothers who have Children with Special Needs. In this research 20 Mothers who had Children with Special Needs were formed into Experimental Groups (n = 10) and Control Groups (n = 10). This research uses Pretest-Post Test Design for Non-Equivalent Groups. The results of this research indicate that forgiveness therapy (forgiveness therapy) can increase the resilience of Mothers who have children with special needs. Forgiveness therapy is known to have an effective contribution to increasing resilience in the experimental group by 31.81%. This shows that the experimental group experienced resilience that was significantly different from the control group (pvalue> 0.05). Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh intervensi terapi Pemaafan (Forgiveness Therapy) terhadap Resiliensi pada Ibu yang memiliki Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan responden penelitian Ibu yang memiliki Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 20 orang Ibu yang memiliki Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus dibentuk menjadi Kelompok Eksperimen (n=10) dan Kelompok Kontrol (n=10). Penelitian ini menggunakan Non-equivalent Control Group Pretest-Post Test Design. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Terapi pemaafan (forgiveness therapy) mampu meningkatkan resiliensi Ibu yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus. Terapi pemaafan (forgiveness therapy) diketahui memiliki sumbangan efektif terhadap peningkatan resiliensi pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 31,81%. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami resiliensi yang berbeda secara signifikan dengan kelompok kontrol (p-value>0,05).
