Abstract

In a study of this type of case studies examined the influence of motivation and job satisfication to employee performance at the Academy of Mechanical Engineering Industrial (ATMI) Cikarang. The formulation of problem in this research is what are motivation and job satisfications that effect of employee performance in ATMI Cikarang, in partial or simultaneously. The purpose of this research is to obtain the effect of remuneration strategies, motivation and job satisfaction ATMI Cikarang applied to employee performance, and analyze the components of remuneration strategies, motivations and job satisfactions have a significant influence foe employee performance improvement. The population of research is all employees in Akademi Teknik Mesin Industri Cikarang that total 160 peoples. The technic of sample determination in this research is accidental sampling, with random distribution of quesionnaries to employee staft with among 114 peoples, equal of slovin formulation. The method of analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis by using software SPSS 17.0. This research result by regression found that the employee performance variable in ATMI Cikarang, influenced by motivation and job satisfication. It is shown the influence of the together with (simultaneous) is positive and significant among the work motivation and job satisfaction to employee performance variable. Dalam penelitian yang berjenis studi kasus ini diteliti pengaruh motivasi dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di Akademi Teknik Mesin Industri Cikarang. Perumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah motivasi dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di ATMI Cikarang, baik secara parsial maipun secara simultan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran pengaruh motivasi, dan kepuasan kerja yang diterapkan ATMI Cikarang terhadap kinerja karyawan, serta menganalisa komponen–komponen motivasi dan kepuasan kerja sehingga dapat memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan di Akademi Teknik Mesin Industri Cikarang yang berjumlah 160 orang. Adapun teknik pengambilan sampling adalah acidental sampling, dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara acak kepada karyawan pelaksana sejumlah 114 orang sesuai rumusan Slovin. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan software SPSS 17.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel kinerja karyawan di ATMI Cikarang dipengaruhi motivasi dan kepuasan kerja. Hal ini ditunjukan adanya pengaruh bersama (simultan) positif dan signifikan antar variable motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap variable kinerja karyawan. Kata kunci : Motivasi, Kepuasan Kerja, dan Kinerja Karyawan.
