Abstract
Kata Kunci: profitabilitas, solvabilitas, struktur modal, deviden payout ratio, harga saham The stock price is regarded as the crucial factor for investors in performing any transaction processes, because it is capable of indicating the performance of the issuer. Investors are demanded to initially analyze stock prices, thus preventing any error in the process of investing due to the movement of a stock’s price can not be predicted with certainty. Consequently, the affecting factors to the stock price are highly required to be identified. This research was conducted to examine the effect of profitability, solvency, capital structure, and dividend payout ratio on stock prices in food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of this research indicated that profitability, solvency, capital structure, and dividend payout ratio were able to influence stock prices. However, the capital structure variable was found to have a negative effect. Thus, the high debt to asset ratio would be capable of indicating high company risk and would decline stock prices due to negative reactions that tend to be showed by investors. Keywords: profitability, solvency, capital structure, dividend payout ratio, stock price
