Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam pengamatan yang dilakukan di Gudang Distributor yang berlokasi di Pergudangan Commpark Kota Wisata, penempatan produk jadi digudang masih belum teratur dalam penyusunan produk, sehingga dapat menyebabkan ketidakefektifan kerja dalam proses perpindahan produk jadi. Metode Shared Storage adalah suatu penyusunan area penyimpanan berdasarkan kondisi luas lantai gudang, kemudian diurutkan area yang paling dekat sampai area yang terjauh dari pintu keluar masuk sehingga penempatan barang yang akan segera dikirim diletakkan pada area yang paling dekat dan begitu seterusnya. Dimensi gudang dengan panjang 15 meter dan lebar 30 meter, selanjutnya menentukan jumlah produk yang paling banyak masuk dan keluar dari gudang, kemudian disesuaikan dengan jarak dari pintu ke area produk sehingga produk harus ditempatkan dekat dengan pintu input output. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian antara tata letak gudang awal dengan usulan memiliki pengurangan cukup signifikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jarak tempuh pengiriman tata letak gudang awal sebesar 1829,52 m, sedangkan jarak tempuh pengiriman tata letak gudang usulan sebesar 1180 m. Dengan pengaturan menggunakan tata letak gudang usulan maka akan diperoleh kemudahan dalam pengecekan barang yang ada di gudang Kata kunci: Gudang, Tata Letak, Metode Shared Storage, Pemborosan ABSTRACT In observations made at the Distributor Warehouse located in the Kota Wisata Commpark Warehousing, the placement of finished products in the warehouse is still not organized in product preparation, so that it can cause ineffective work in the process of moving finished products. The Shared Storage method is a storage area arrangement based on the condition of the warehouse floor area, then sorted the closest area to the area farthest from the entrance and exit so that the placement of goods to be sent immediately is placed in the closest area and so on. Dimensions of the warehouse with a length of 15 meters and a width of 30 meters, then determine the number of products that most enter and exit the warehouse, then adjusted to the distance from the door to the product area so that the product must be placed close to the door of input output. Based on the results of research between the initial warehouse layout with the proposal has a significant reduction. The results showed that the initial warehouse delivery distance of the warehouse layout was 1829.52 m, while the proposed warehouse warehouse delivery mileage was 1180 m.
