Abstract

During this time there are still many problems in storing comic books at home. The designer has not found any special shelves to store the comic books that continue to grow, so it attracts designers to design a bookshelf that can solve the problem of comic bookshops that continue to grow. The purpose of this design is: Create a bookshelf design product suitable for the needs of comic books that continue to grow. Furthermore for the purpose: (1) Shelves that can store comic books to be placed in a narrow space. (2) Shelves that can be added according to the comic book users / users who continue to grow. (3) Can save a lot of comic books with different amounts neatly. (4) Good quality comic bookcase with attractive, lightweight, durable design, easy to use (safe and comfortable), and cheap. This bookshelf product, in particular, is designed with a 90s design style with a modular system with consideration of comic book‐keeping issues over the years. Keywords: shelf, comic books, modular Selama ini masih banyak masalah dalam penyimpanan buku‐buku komik dirumah. Perancang belum menemukan adanya rak yang khusus untuk menyimpan buku‐buku komik yang terus bertambah, sehingga hal ini menarik minat perancang untuk mendesain pruduk rak buku yang dapat menyelesaikan masalah rak buku komik yang terus berambah. Maksud dari perancangan ini adalah: Membuat produk desain rak buku yang sesuai untuk kebutuhan buku komik yang terus bertambah. Selanjutnya untuk tujuannya: (1) Rak yang dapat menyimpan buku komik untuk ditempatkan pada ruang yang sempit. (2) Rak yang dapat ditambah sesuai buku komik user/pengguna yang terus bertambah. (3) Dapat menyimpan banyak buku komik dengan jumlah yang berbeda‐beda dengan rapi. (4) Rak buku komik berkualitas dengan desain yang menarik, ringan, yang tahan lama, mudah dalampenggunaan(aman dan nyaman), dan murah. Produk rak buku ini, pada khususnya, ditujukan dengan gaya desain tahun 90an dengan sistem modular dengan pertimbangan permasalahan‐permasalahanpenyimpanan buku komik selama ini.
