Abstract

Waste is waste generated from a production process both industrial and domestic (household). Solid waste, better known as rubbish, which is often unwanted to participate because it does not have a use and economic value, with certain concentrations and concentrations, collected waste can have a negative impact on the environment for human health, needs to be done to improve waste. To help reduce the amount of waste that exists, the writer uses Wood Waste consisting of small pieces and hollow type iron waste to produce products, by making waste into raw materials through various processes, then the raw materials are processed with production techniques to become table products, for wood waste in the form of squares, rectangles, and triangles and after that are arranged using glue with a rectangular shape to be made into a table top, and to form a square of several sizes and made into table legs, and finally put together into a table. With this product creation can help reduce the amount of waste. Keywords: Waste, Wood, Iron, Table. Limbah adalah buangan yang dihasilkan dari suatu proses produksi baik industri maupun domestik (rumah tangga). Limbah padat lebih dikenal sebagai sampah, yang sering kali tidak dikehendaki kehadirannya karena tidak memilki nilai guna dan ekonomis, dengan konsentrasi dan kuantitas tertentu, kehadiran limbah dapat berdampak negatif terhadap lingkungan terutama bagi kesehatan manusia, sehingga perlu dilakukan penanganan terhadap limbah. Untuk membantu mengurangi jumlah limbah yang ada penulis menggunakan Limbah Kayu yang berupa potongan-potongan kecil dan Limbah besi jenis hollow untuk dijadikan sebuah produk, dengan cara membuat limbah menjadi bahan baku melalui beberapa proses, kemudian bahan baku diolah dengan teknik produksi sampai menjadi sebuah produk meja, untuk limbah kayu dipotong dan dibentuk berupa kotak, persegi panjang, dan segitiga dan setelah itu disusun dan ditempel menggunakan lem dengan bentuk persegi panjang untuk dijadikan menjadi daun meja, dan untuk besi dipotong dengan beberapa ukuran dan dibentuk menjadi sebuah kaki meja, dan terakhir disatukan menjadi sebuah meja. Dengan terciptanya produk ini dapat membantu mengurangi jumlah Limbah. Kata Kunci: Limbah, Kayu, Besi, Meja
