Abstract

Betawi song is a song that characterizes Betawi culture in Indonesia. In general, each folk song has a songwriter, but many are unknown to the people of Indonesia. With illustrated books and kinetic videos, the media most loved by children, especially illustration media and a few games (interactive books) involving children, become interested. In the design often found several titles that make the design of interactive books that function as increasing interest in reading children aged 6-8 years of the book. This Illustration book is through parents to introduce or teach children to know Betawi songs. In generating interest in reading to children to understand what the meaning of the song song of the region. With parents the children can be encouraged and understand the importance of knowing Betawi songs, therefore children should be interested in the book The benefits of introducing Jakarta regional songs, which can be through Betawi songs or traditional music, can be learned directly to know various cultures, being able to tell traditional clothes, dances and musical instruments, enriching the type of folk songs for children is very important to introduce Betawi songs so that in the future children can introduce the diversity of types of Betawi songs to the knowledge of regional songs even more. Keywords: Visual, Book Cover, Illustration Lagu Betawi merupakan lagu yang menciri khaskan kebudayaan Betawi di Indonesia. Pada umumnya setiap lagu daerah memiliki pencipta lagu namun banyak yang tidak diketahui oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Dengan buku ilustrasi dan video kinetik media yang paling disukai oleh anakanak terutama media ilustrasi dan sedikit permainan (buku interaktif) yang melibatkan anak-anak menjadi tertarik. Dalam perancangan sering dijumpai beberapa judul yang membuat perancangan buku interaktif yang berfungsi sebagai meningkatkan minat baca anak usia 6-8 tahun terhadap buku tersebut. Buku Ilustrasi ini melalui orang tua untuk memperkenalkan atau mengajarkan anak mengetahui lagu Betawi. Dalam menimbulkan minat baca pada anak-anak menjadi mengerti apa arti buku lagu daerah tersebut. Dengan orang tua anak-anak dapat terdorong dan mengerti pentingnya mengenal lagu Betawi, maka dari itu anak-anak harus tertarik dengan buku tersebut Manfaat memperkenalkan lagu daerah Jakarta yaitu bisa melalui lagu Betawi atau musik tradisional maka dapat dipelajari langsung mengenal ragam budaya, bisa menceritakan pakaian adat, tarian maupun alat musik, memperkaya jenis lagu daerah bagi anak sangat penting untuk memperkenalkan lagu Betawi agar kedepannya anakanak bisa mengenalkan keragaman jenis lagu Betawi hingga pengetahuan mengenai lagu daerah lebih banyak lagi.
