Abstract
ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to prove and see that there is a relationship between self-criticism and body dissatisfaction in adolescence girls. The population in this research is late adolescence girls in Cileungsi. The technique used in determining the sample is an accidental sampling technique, which is included in the category of non-probability sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 211 late adolescence girls. Data analysis techniques used is descriptive statistical analysis and pearson correlation technique in SPSS for Windows ver. 21. The results of this study showed a positive relationship between self-criticism and body dissatisfaction in adolescence girls. These result showed that the higher the body dissatisfaction, the higher self-criticism experienced by late adolescence, and vice versa. Keywords: Self-Criticism, Body Dissatisfaction, and Late Adolescence ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuktikan dan melihat ada hubungan antara selfcriticism dan ketidakpuasan citra tubuh pada remaja perempuan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah remaja akhir perempuan di Cileungsi. Teknik yang digunakan dalam menentukan sampel yaitu teknik accidental sampling, yang termasuk dalam kategori non-probability sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 211 remaja akhir perempuan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan teknik pearson correlation pada SPSS for windows ver. 21.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif antara self-criticism dan ketidakpuasan citra tubuh pada remaja perempuan. hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi ketidakpuasan citra tubuh maka semakin tinggi self-criticism yang dialami oleh remaja akhir perempuan, begitu sebaliknya.
