Abstract
Audio Visual Media is an tool which means materials or tools used in learning situation to help writing and spoken words in transmitting knowledge, attitude, and idea. The use of Audio Visual at the stage of learning helps to the effectiveness of the learning process in the delivery of massage and content. In addition to increasing motivation and interest, Audio Visual learning media can also reach all circles with an easy-to-accept presentation. Design Promotion of Gorga Batak Tribe Culture aims to provide information about Gorga to the public, aspecially Batak tribe, currently there is no visual communication media that provides education about it, while the existing media is not yet objective to overcome it. Therefore the design of Gorga Batak Tribe Culture with the title “Ayo Kenali Gorga Kita“ is intended to be able to inform the whole community about understanding and function of Gorga Batak through video that will be aired to the public. Key Word: Promotion, Culture, Ayo Kenali Gorga Kita, Audio Visual Media Audio visual merupakan sebuah alat bantu yang berarti bahan atau alat yang dipergunakan dalam situasi belajar untuk membantu tulisan dan kata yang diucapkan dalam menularkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan ide. Penggunaan media Audio Visual pada tahap pembelajaran membantu ke efektifitasan proses pembelajaran dalam penyampaian pesan dan isi. Selain meningkatkan motivasi dan minat, media pembelajaran Audio Visual juga dapat menjangkau semua kalangan dengan penyajian yang mudah di terima. Perancangan Promosi Gorga Kebudayaan Suku Batak bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai Gorga untuk masyarakat terutama Suku Batak, saat ini belum ada media komunikasi visual yang memberikan edukasi mengenai hal tersebut, adapun media yang sudah ada belum objektif untuk mengatasinya. Oleh sebab itu perancangan Promosi Gorga Kebudayaan Suku Batak dengan judul “Ayo Kenali Gorga Kita” ini bertujuan agar dapat menginformasikan kepadaseluruh masyarakat tentang pengertian dan fungsi Gorga Batak melalui video yang akan ditayangkan ke masyarakat.
