Abstract

Micro small and medium enterprises or MSME is a popular enterprises in Indonesia for example is a cakery enterprises own by mrs. Yanti, Yanti Cookies and Cake. In the business world, business actors must be prepared for competition. Business actors are required to be innovative in capturing the hearts of customers to buy their products. After doing business for almost 3 years, Yanti Cookies & Cake Cakery plans to expand its market share. But it has problems because its products are not selling and are hard to identified by customers. In this thesis the author glanced at the Micro small and medium enterprises to do a rebranding on the Yanti Cookies & Cake Cakery product packaging. The purpose of this work is to strengthen the identity and image of these Micro small and medium enterprises as well as to make the product packaging sell more. Data collection techniques in this thesis project uses qualitative data collection types. The author collects data through interviews with the Yanti Cookies & Cake, observation and analysis of similar products. The solution offered by the author is to redesign the logo also product packaging to strengthen the image that exists on Yanti Cookies & Cake itself. Kata Kunci: MSME, rebranding, Logo, Packaging Saat usaha kecil menengah atau biasa disebut UKM merupakan jenis usaha yang cukup popular dikalangan masyarakat Indonesia salah satunya adalah perusahaan cakery milik ibu Yanti yang bernama Yanti Cookies & Cake. Dalam dunia usaha maka pelaku usaha harus siap akan yang namanya persaingan. Pelaku usaha dituntut untuk terus berinovasi dalam memikat hati pelanggan agar membeli produknya. Setelah melakukan usaha sekitar hamper 3 tahun Yanti Cookies & Cake ini berencana untuk memperluas pangsa pasarnya. Namun mendapat kendala karena produknya kurang menjual dan diidentifikasikan oleh pelanggan. Dalam tugas akhir ini penulis melirik UKM tersebut untuk dilakukan rebranding pada kemasan produk Yanti Cookies & Cake. Tujuan karya ini untuk memperkuat identitas dan citra pada UKM tersebut serta membuat kemasan produk lebih menjual. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam projek tugas akhir ini memakai jenis pengumpulan data kualitatif. Penulis menggumpulkan data melalui wawancara kepada pihak Yanti Cookies & Cake, observasi dan juga analisis pada produk sejenis. Solusi yang ditawarkan penulis adalah dengan meredesain logo serta kemasan produk agar memperkuat citra yang ada pada Yanti Cookies & Cake itu sendiri. Kata Kunci: UKM, rebranding, Logo, Kemasan
