Abstract
The piston-slap is still a source of noise and vibration in the internal combustion engine (IC engine). In this study the dynamic simulations piston-slap aimed to study the vibration caused by the phenomenon of piston-slap. 4 stoke engine becomes the object of this research. Modeling of the geometry of the machine is done using software SOLIDWORKS 2017. ANSYS 18.2 is used to perform dynamic simulation of piston-slap. In this simulation conducted using three different piston rotation, 1000 rpm, 1050 rpm and 1100 rpm. The vibration studied is the piston-slap phenomenon that occurs in the top dead center (TDC) and bottom dead center (BDC). Keywords: 4 stroke engine, piston, piston-slap, SOLIDWORKS, ANSYS. Piston-slap masih menjadi sumber kebisingan dan getaran di internal combustion engine (IC engine). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan simulasi dinamik piston-slap bertujuan untuk mempelajari getaran yang dihasilkan dari fenomena piston-slap. Mesin-torak 4 langkah menjadi objek pada penelitian ini. Permodelan geometri mesin dilakukan menggunakan software SOLIDWORKS 2017. Software ANSYS 18.2 digunakan untuk melakukan simulasi dinamik dari piston-slap. Pada simulasi ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga putaran torak yang berbeda, 1000 rpm, 1050 rpm dan 1100 rpm. Getaran yang diteliti adalah fenomena piston-slap yang terjadi di titik mati atas (TMA) dan titik mati bawah (TMB). Kata kunci: mesin-torak 4 langkah, piston, piston-slap, SOLIDWORKS, ANSYS.
